Pay It Forward

Dream Big, Start Small and Pay It Forward

The concept of "paying it forward" has gained a lot of traction in recent years. The idea is simple: instead of using their money to buy more things for themselves, billionaires could use it to help the less fortunate. They could create scholarships, fund medical research, or start businesses that would provide good jobs. In short, they could use their money to make the world a better place. It's admittedly a bit of a pie-in-the-sky idea, but it's one that I think is worth considering. We all know that the gap between the rich and the poor is only getting wider. Perhaps it's time for the rich to start paying it forward so that everyone can benefit.

Help The World Become A Much Better Place

In 2009, Warren Buffett and Bill Gates created the Giving Pledge, a campaign to encourage the world’s wealthiest people to commit to giving away at least half of their fortune. The Giving Pledge is based on the simple idea that those who have been fortunate enough to accumulate great wealth should give back to society. Warren Buffett has said that “if you’re in the luckiest 1% of humanity, you owe it to the rest of humanity to think about the other 99%.” The Giving Pledge is not a binding contract, but rather a moral commitment. It is a way for billionaires to put their money where their mouth is and put their wealth to work for the good of humanity.
